Far more than a revival, this second chapter re-germinates MOMIX’s 2008 hit Botanica with new surprises, updated visual projections, and interactive lighting that transform the stage into a living terrarium. Dancers become humming wasps, glowing marigolds, and treetop columns, making visible the same energy that drives the natural world.
Running approximately 90 minutes with one intermission, Botanica Season 2 fuses athletic dance, visual illusion, and natural storytelling to leave audiences “with a little less gravity in their step,” as Pendleton puts it—proof that photosynthesis can happen in the immersive world of a dark theater.
